Lean in 13 - Report

Well the second week of Lean in 13 was crazy for me.  I did not stick to the diet and my workouts were inconsistent.  BUT the Products and Routine are GREAT.  I like the Muscle Gain Shake.

The takeaway for me is this:  We have a routine for everyone!  The Lean in 13 is likely best suited for the athlete or the person that is looking to trim up and tone but does not need to lose a bunch of weight.  I was pleasantly surprised how I responded to the routine.  I lost 5 lbs in the first week and at the end I feel slimmer and I have a ton of energy.  I am now down 42 lbs!

What are you doing and What is Advocare?

So many people are asking the question, What are you doing to lose weight?  I tell them about the 24 day challenge.  This has been life changing for my life and health.  The awesome thing is that I am changing my health but also changing my financial future by developing a Plan B income.

Lean in 13 Days 5 and 6

Friday was Day 5 of Lean in 13 and it was a different day for us.  We had an all day meeting about the adoption process and our food choices were limited.  I also may have not made the best decisions.  But we made the best of it.

Day 5
Woke up and had a Spark and 3 Catalyst
MNS E Red Packet 30 mins before Breakfast
Breakfast - Berry Meal Replacement Shake and 2 MNS E White Packets
10am - Almonds
11:30am - MNS E Red Packet
12:00pm - Lunch - Very Small Turkey and Provolone Sandwich, Salad, a few Potato chips, and a cookie
3:00pm - Fruit Punch Spark
5:30pm - Ate at Cheddars - Grilled Catfish with Green Beans and Rice
11pm - 3 Catalyst



Day 6
Woke up and had a Spark and 3 Catalyst
MNS E Red Packet 30 mins before Breakfast
Breakfast - Berry Meal Replacement Shake and 2 MNS E White Packets
10am - Almonds
12:30pm - MNS E Red Packet
1:00pm - Lunch - 2 Hard boiled eggs
3:00pm - Muscle Gain Shake
5:30pm - Grilled Chicken and Red and Yellow Bell Peppers
11pm - 3 Catalyst



Day 5 had it's consequences but on the morning of Day 7 I am back where I was on Day 3.  I like the Lean in 13 program but I will admit it is not for everyone.  I think it is a good thing to do every once in awhile to trim and tone but as for a regular routine it is less calories than most people need.

Day 4 - Refuel Day


Day 4 - Weighed in at 204.8 lbs
Woke up and had a Spark and 3 Catalyst
Failed to workout this morning.
MNS E Red Packet 30 mins before Breakfast
Breakfast - Berry Meal Replacement Shake and 2 MNS E White Packets
9:30am - A few Almonds and an Apple
12:00pm - MNS E Red Packet
12:30 pm - Lunch @Chipotle - Burrito Bowl - Chicken, Black Beans, and Brown Rice
3:00pm - Chocolate Muscle Gain Shake and a Banana
5:15pm - Grilled Chicken in a Homemade Marinade by Shana.  It was awesome.  Also hadblack Beans and Red and Yellow Peppers
6:30pm - Fruit Punch Spark
7:00pm - Softball game #1 - Had a Rehydrate after the game....joined the team at Buffalo Wild Wings in between games and only drank water.  The wings smelled good but they are iny compared to Sauced.
9:30pm - 3 Catalyst
10:pm - Softball Game #2

Needed a better workout but subbing in at the softball game was fun.  Gotta get some sleep!

Lean in 13 Days 1 - 3

I had a request to document the Lean in 13 like I have done with the 24 Day Challenge.  The following is a recap of the first 3 Days.  The Lean in 13 incorporates MNS, Catalyst, Thermoplus, Meal Replacement Shakes, Muscle Gain Shakes, and Omegaplex.  The eating plan is similar to South Beach.  If anyone is doing the 24 Day Challenge they can complete the lean in 13 during the Max Phase.  This is a great program for those that are trying to trim and tome.

Day 1 - Weighed in at 209 lbs
Woke up and had a Spark and 3 Catalyst
Interval training for 15 minutes on Eliptical, 100 Crunches, 100 fly's with 5lb barbells
MNS E Red Packet 30 mins before Breakfast
Breakfast - Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake and 2 MNS E White Packets
10am - 1/4 Cup of Almonds
12pm - MNS E Red Packet
12:30 pm - Lunch - Grilled Chicken Spinach Tomato Salad with Basalmic Vinagarette
2:30pm - 3 Catalyst
3:00pm - Chocolate Muscle Gain Shake
5:15pm - Grilled Chicken and Grilled Asparagus - 2 Omegaplex


Day 2 - Weighed in at 207 lbs
Woke up and had a Spark and 3 Catalyst
Walked 2.25 miles in 34 minutes
MNS E Red Packet 30 mins before Breakfast
Breakfast - Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake and 2 MNS E White Packets
10am - 1/4 Cup of Almonds
11:30am - MNS E Red Packet
12:00 pm - Lunch - Cowboy Chicken - White Meat Rotisserie Chicken and Fresh Green Beans
2:30pm - 3 Catalyst
3:00pm - Chocolate Muscle Gain Shake
5:15pm - Grilled Chicken and Grilled Asparagus - 2 Omegaplex


Day 3 - Weighed in at 205 lbs
Woke up and had a Spark and 3 Catalyst
50 Crunches, 100 fly's with 5lb barbells
MNS E Red Packet 30 mins before Breakfast
Breakfast - Berry Meal Replacement Shake and 2 MNS E White Packets
10am - 1/4 Cup of Almonds and 1 Hard Boiled Egg
12pm - MNS E Red Packet
12:30 pm - Lunch - 3 Hard Boiled Eggs
2:30pm - 3 Catalyst and Fruit Punch Spark
3:00pm - Chocolate Muscle Gain Shake
5:15pm - Baked Cod and Fresh Green Beans - 1 Omegaplex

Days 1-3 are called burn days.  Day 4 will be a Refuel day and we will add a snack that will include fruit.  I thought this would be very difficult but I am enjoying this.


Lean in 13 Day 3 Update

We are just about done with Day 3 of the Lean in 13.  Monday I started at 209 and I am now down to 205!  I am really starting to fill slim!  I feel great working out, walking and taking the great products!

I am taking MNS E,this is the Metabollic Nutritional System that focuses on Energy.  Knowing I would be eating less I wanted to make sure I had plenty of Energy.  I am also enjoying adding in the Muscle Gain Shake and of course I am taking Catalyst.

I also got results from my Physical from the doctor today.  I am so excited to see the doctor say the results were EXCELLENT!  It is good to know that I am doing as good as I feel.  I feel like a new person.  In January I was just under 250lbs and now I am almost down to do 200lbs.  Love my New Life.

Starting Lean in 13 on Monday

Well the last week has been a great time celebrating with friends from out of town and enjoying a few foods that I have been avoiding.  The beautiful thing about my new lifestyle is that while I still get to eat the things I like, I no longer care to eat in excess.  My eating habits and physical activity have changed for the better.

Monday, Shana and I will start the Lean in 13 Program with Advocare.  This incorporates SparkCatalyst, Thermoplus, the Meal Replacement Shakes, and the MNS 3 system.  I am also going to incorporate the Muscle Gain Shake to build muscle.

RESULTS!!!

The Results of my 2nd 24 Day Challenge are In!
On Day 1 I weighed in at 218lbs. - Yesterday I weighed in at the Doctors office at 207lbs.
Lost 11 lbs for a total weight loss of 39lbs since Jan 8, 2012.

Day 24

The schedule was off today because I had a physical this morning and had to fast prior to the appointment.

Got a good report from the doctor.  Have to wait for the blood results to come back.  I did weigh in at 207.

That is a total of 39 lbs since January 8 and 11 lbs on this challenge.
