February is Done! March will be huge!

As February comes to an end, I am reflecting on the amazing transformation that started some 52 days ago.  I have lost 21lbs.  5 of those came in the second half of February.  In that same time I celebrated my 35th Birthday 3 times, had Valentines day, attended the Opening of the New Sauced Wings n More in Allen, and received our small order of Girl Scout Cookies.

My heating habits have changed and I really enjoy working out now.  As I have said before I am amazed that I no longer have a desire for soft drinks.  In fact this week I decided to have a glass of Coke and I poured it out because I did not care for it.  This is AWESOME!

I am aiming to lose 10lbs in March and I will start my 2nd 24 Day Challenge on April 8, 2012.  I am inviting all my friends to join me on the challenge in April.  If you are ready to look better, feel better, and perform better please call me so You can join me.  Summer is coming and I know many are ready to shed a few pounds or get the energy they need to make it thru the summer.

Day 46 - A Beautiful Day

It was a Beautiful Winter Day in Texas....it was 79 degrees this afternoon.
This morning Shana and I walked 3+ miles.  We walked our neighborhood and it was great.  In the past when we walked I would get shin splints about 10 minutes in.  We walked 50 minutes and I could have gone on another hour...NO Shin Splints!

Staying on MNS E, Meal Replacement Shakes, Spark, Catalyst, Thermoplus, and Omegaplex.  I must say Spark, The Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake and Catalyst are my favorites.

I am pumped.  Watch out world!

Day 45 - Weigh In

I am happy to report that I weighed in this morning at 225 lbs.

That is a 21 lbs loss in 45 days!

This is real life change.  My shirts are now starting to feel loose.  I think I may need to take measurements again!

Day 44 - New workout today

Today I have an extra bounce in my step.  I relly feel great today.  I feel slimmer today and it really feels GREAT!

So today I went to the gym to workout and I wanted to change it up.  So...I played basketball by myself.  I ran the court making layups.  Ran drills making bank shots from either side of the land working all the way to the free throw line.  I worked up quite a sweat and had a lot of fun.  I am definitely not ready to rain down the 3 ball but I did okay inside the arc.  I look forward to practicing more and getting ready to join some games at the gym.

Day 42 - It's a Constant Grind - Gotta Love It!

I have not posted in a few days.  Still feeling great.  I have been alternating the MNS E and MNS 3.  I think the MNS 3 works best for me.  I enjoy a Meal Replacement Shake everyday, SPARK twice a day and I am taking Catalyst, Thermoplus, and Omegaplex.  I Love these products!

Today I really want to eat!  Everything sounds good.  These are the times where I gained my weight.  It is not that I am hungry, I just want to eat.  So tonight I am here blogging instead of eating.

The great thing about the 24 Day Challenge is that I am changing everything for good.  I will say I am still eating a few of my favorite things but my daily diet has changed.  I felt a big difference in my suit today and that felt great. Gotta Keep on Keepin' On!

The last 2 weeks have been busy and I have missed several trips to the gym..but NO EXCUSES.  Today I woke up early and did Wii Fit Plus.  Shana walked 4 miles through our neighborhood.

Day 37 - Enjoy Making Good Decisions!

Having my Birthday the Day before Valentines can make for several days of celebrations.  How do I celebrate?  Mostly by eating!  I had a great dinner last night with Shana and Ethan at the Cheesecake Factory.  I had the Pecan Crusted Catfish with Corn Succotash and my splurge was mashed potatoes.  We had to have cake so the 3 of us split a piece of cheesecake.

I did go off the diet this weekend but between yesterday and today I am already feeling like I am back on track. I also learned yesterday that I can eat a great salad and soup at Corner Bakery.  Shana took me there for my birthday and I really enjoyed the Spinach Salad and Tomato Soup.  In the past, I always chose to eat the sandwich with Bacon and potato chips.  I was so pumped that I enjoyed such a healthy lunch.

I am now 35 and this is going to be the best year yet.  Greater things are yet to come!  Do you want to start making the best decisions for your health?  If I can do it You can too!

Day 34 - Birthday Weekend and Valentine's

Just got back from Cardio Tennis at the PGA Superstore.  I am really enjoying playing tennis again.

Still feeling great and eating really well.  I am learning I like things that are not fried.  Another celebration this weekend as I turn 35 on Monday.  Will need to workout consistently next week.  I did not workout as much this week.  I will say a little extra workout makes a difference.  I don't need to do a major workout or run a marathon but exercise on Wii Fit Plus and walking go a long way.

Day 31

Excited to report that I already lost the pounds from Super Splurge Sunday and I am now in the 220's.

I had the pleasure to meet and shake the hand of Rick Santorum tonight.  He shares a bold vision and he has strong faith and convictions.

Staying on a combo of MNS E and MNS 3.

Goal for February is to get in the teens by the end of the month...must lose at least 10lbs.  Need to hit the gym.

A Blessing Today - Who is He to you today?

As I splurged this week and overate, I reflected on the role food has played in my life.  Food has been my addiction, the thing that I use in excess.  Really not any different than an alcoholic drinking too much.

As I drove Ethan to school this morning we listened to He Is by the Prestonwood Choir and Michael Chenoweth.  What a blessing this song.  It covers who God is in each book of the Bible.  So many stuck out but today he is my Strength and My Shield.  Below are two videos with the song.  The first is a smaller group and the second has the entire choir.  I pray that this will bless you.  I hope you will share Who He Is to you today.

Super Bowl Sunday! Big Splurge!

Well the Super Bowl came and went!  I ate more tonight than I have in a long time.  We ordered wings from Sauced.  I ate to my hearts content and had some Diet Dr Pepper.  I did overeat.  I did take some Carb Ease Plus and I hope that helped some...thinking I should have taken FiboTrim instead.  FiboTrim is probably a more appropriate choice since I probably ate more fat than I did Carbs.  I finished off the night with some EXCELLENT Chocolate Chip Cookies made by Shana.

I enjoyed the food but at the same time I really look forward to eating better this week.  The food was great but I know I can draw the line better and NOT overeat.  I am ready to work hard this week to make up for the extra calories consumed tonight.  Working out will be key this week!

As for a Superbowl parallel...the Giants were not th ebest team this year but they sure did finish strong.  They had some big failures during the year but they rose to the challenge and played their best at the end....I can do that too!  Join Me!

Day 27

Starting today the blog will change a little.  I won't bore you with everything I eat and take each day.  I will update you on the products I am taking and the new foods or exercise that I find.  If you want more details, let me know.  I will get back to a more detailed summary when I start my NEXT 24 Day Challenge.

Today I am taking the MNS E system.  I also rotating Spark with Advocare Slim.
I spent my workout today lifting weights and did a few short fast runs on the treadmill like I have seen on The Biggest Loser.

Shana and I had Date Night tonight.  We went to The Cheesecake Factory.  You must go try the Skinnylicious Menu, all the plates are under 590 calories.  Shana had the Tuscan Chicken and I had the BBQ Chicken.  With the BBQ Chicken they served a Corn Succotash with Corn, Bell Pepper and Zucchini.  I normally would have picked out the corn and zucchini.  Today I ate the bell peppers and I must say the Corn Succotash was Very Good.  They served 3 chicken breasts, about 3oz each.  I ate two and brought 1 home for lunch on Saturday.  And for the first time ever, we ate at Cheesecake Factory and passed up the Cheesecake!

Oh yeah, we went shopping and I bought new jeans. Down from 38's to 36's.  This is awesome!

30 miutes before lunch - 3 Catalyst, Red MNS E packet, Thermoplus
Lunch - Went to Dodies Cajun Diner, Grilled Mahi, Steamed Broccoli, Side Salad
Snack - Slim
Dinner - Chicken Fajita's Whole Wheat Tortilla's Corn Chips, Brown Rice, Black Beans
After Dinner Snack - Rice Cake

Day 25 - The next step

Today I started the MNS E System.
Woke up and had a Mandarin Orange Spark, First Red MNS E packet, 3 Catalyst, Thermoplus
Breakfast - Chocolate MRS and 2 White MNS packets
Snack - V8 Fusion drink
Lunch - Chocolate Peanut Butter Meal Replacement Bar, 3 Catalyst, Thermoplus, 2nd White MNS E packet
Snack - Cherry Spark - mixed nuts, water
Dinner - Chicken Fajitas, Brown Rice, Black Beans, Artisan Whole Wheat Tortillas, i did have some Corn Chips, 2 Omegaplex
Staying on Product and On Mission. 16 lbs down 45 to go!

I am happy to report the Following Results.

January 8 I weighed in at 246lbs
February 1 I weighed in at 231lbs

Total Weight Loss = 15lbs!


I lost a total of 8.75 inches!
Areas Measured
Right Arm - from 17" to 16"
Chest - 48.5" to 45"
Waist - 48" to 45.5"
Hips - 45.5" to 44"
Right Thigh - 23.75" to 23.5"
Right Calf - 16.5" - stayed the same.
